The CSIP retrieved two dead stranded short-beaked common dolphins yesterday. The first was found dead stranded at Kingston Gorse in West Sussex on Sunday and the second was reported dead stranded at Exmouth in Devon, again on Sunday.
Post-mortems will be carried out this week on both animals and results will be posted.
Many thanks to Bill D’Alson and Arun District Council, Nigel Snowshore, Martin McGuire and East Devon Council for all their help with the retrieval of the two bodies.
