“Scientists” observe the seals at the Dollard inlet. This is an artificial, man-made location where seals have chosen to haul out during high tide, although there is a lot of disturbance.
So many pups lose their mother on this spot. But those biologists try to stop other people who want to save seals in need by trying to prove that the mother almost always comes back to her pup. All other (peer reviewed) publications conclude the opposite. Who is right? Please help us to continue saving motherless seal pups.
